Degree Programs that Can be Linked to the EES Specialization

The EES Specialization could be associated with any thesis-based graduate program at the University of Calgary that has the potential for an energy-environment focus. However, sometimes there are challenges in identifying a project topic that meets both the requirements of the degree program and the requirement of the EES Specialization.

The EES Specialization has been associated with the following graduate degree programs. ISEEE would be pleased to explore association with others if there is interest from a prospective graduate student or supervisor.  Students must obtain permission from their home department in order to be considered part of the EES Specialization.

• Masters or PhD in Engineering (all departments, Faculty of Engineering)
• Masters of Science or PhD (all departments, Faculty of Science) 
• Master of Arts or PhD in Economics (Faculty of Arts)
• Master of Arts, Master of Science or PhD in Geography (Faculty of Arts)
• Master of Arts or PhD in Communications and Culture (Faculty of Arts)
• PhD in Business (Haskayne School of Business)
• Master of Environmental Design or PhD (Faculty of Environmental Design)
• Master or PhD in Interdisciplinary Studies
